Welcome to Carson Long
Carson Long Military Institute is the oldest boarding school with military training in the United States.
It has been a nonprofit corporation since 1920 and is governed by a 15-member Board of Trustees. Carson Long has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools since 1929. It is a member of the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States, the National Association of Independent Schools, and the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools.

Leadership Development Course
We will be launching this year's Leadership Development Course September 2-7. The purpose of this course is to prepare cadet leaders to assume their leadership role in the Corps of Cadets and to facilitate the transition of returning and new students to the routine and standards of CLMI.
