OPEN HOUSE

Thank you for your interest in Carson Long Military Academy where our motto of “Knowledge Today, College Tomorrow” is our lifestyle, not our catch phrase.  Through teaching cadets to choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong, we teach cadets to honor themselves, their family, their country, and their school providing a foundation for success lasting well beyond the walls of our hallowed institution.  We have been doing this for 174 years.  Become part of the tradition.

If you would like to see the campus, meet members of the administration and faculty, and get your questions answered, we recommend attending one of our Open Houses.  Our Open Houses are designed to give families an opportunity to see the campus, our cadets, and our traditions first hand.

A typical Open House Schedule is as follows:

9:30-10:00 am Registration/Light Refreshments
10:00-10:30 am Welcome from Colonel Brown, School President
10:30-11:15 am Parade
11:15 am-12:00 pm Forum (Q&A with members of the administration and faculty)
12:00 pm-1:00 pm Campus Tour
1:00 pm Interviews for those families interested*

*Interviews are scheduled the day of the Open House on a first come first serve basis in twenty (20) minute intervals with members of our Administration.  You do not need to schedule an interview the day of the Open House, but please be aware that an interview will be required for admission, and you will be asked to return for the interview if you choose not to interview the day of the open house.

Note:  Summer Open Houses will vary from the above schedule secondary to the cadets not being on campus, and the schedule will be modified accordingly.
