What is the 2017 Extra Ordinary Give?

Sponsored by the Lancaster County Community Foundation, the 2017 Extra Ordinary Give is a fundraising initiative that in 2016 raised over $22.5 million dollars for community organizations. On top of the donations made to Carson Long, the Lancaster County Foundation will "stretch" each donation by 3%, providing more of an incentive to give to Carson Long.

Information: 2017 Extra Ordinary Give Day - November 17, 2017

The Extraordinary Give is Lancaster County's Largest Day of Giving. For the past five years, in just 120 hours of giving, the Extraordinary Give has raised $22.5 million for more than 500 organizations! This year, on November 17th, every dollar donated at ExtraGive.org during will be stretched with at least $500,000 from the Lancaster County Community Foundation, Rodgers & Associates, The S. Dale High Family Foundation, and our community partners to support the causes you care about. The 2017 Extraordinary Give is set for November 17th; mark your calendars and get ready to Give Extra!

The Community Foundation is committed to helping you make a difference and strengthening our local community benefit sector. The Extraordinary Give is a special way to bring these two goals together; a powerful day to show support to our local community and a way to give a little extra to those who need it most.

What Does a Donation to Carson Long Mean for our Students?

$25 can provide supplies for students clubs and other extracurricular activities.

$100 can help fund our library, sports and music programs

$1000 can provide transportation of students to various events including community service activities, sporting competitions, drill meets and educational field trips. Can also provide STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) materials, equipment and on line text books.
