Carson Long were eliminated from the PIAA District tournament by the High Point Baptist Eagles, 48-32. Despite the early exit, Carson Long claimed tournament gold at the Lititz Christian tournament and their first MAC Conference title over the course of the season. We bid the Seniors farewell knowing that a talented group of underclassmen are ready to take up the challenge.

Carson Long took the MAC Conference title with a 61-49 win over the St Joseph's Prep Wolves. Losing both regular season games motivated the Warriors and 4 players with double digit scoring helped propel CLMA to the title. 15 pts from Freshman Kyle Wilson-Bailey, 14 pts from Sophomore Brandon Osafo, 12 pts from Senior Davon Ralliford and 10 pts from Sophomore AJ Miglirini, and a masterful court leadership performance from Senior Captains Taj Smith and Nazir Johnson paced the Warriors to their 1st Conference title in 20 years.

The Carson Long Varsity team pepped for past season play by splitting 2 games at home. On Saturday, they fell 47-40 to Tri-Valley HS but bounced back with a 58-30 win against Bucktail HS on Monday evening. Thursday evening CLMA hosts Harrisburg Academy at 7:00pm in the MAC semi finals with the final on Saturday at Greenwood HS, 2:00pm. The Warriors then travel to High Point Baptist Academy on Monday evening for a 7:00pm tip-off in the PIAA District 3 tournament, 1st round.

The Warriors basketball teams are midway through a tough 4 game week. Victory at Grace Prep last night, 60-15, was followed up with a dual JH and Varsity win, at home, against Belleville Mennonite. The JH team was paced by Khalil Rashada, who poured in 17 pts, and the Varsity won 42-21, with Senior Davon Ralliford and Freshman Kyle Wilson-Bailey both scoring 11. The JH return to action tomorrow, hosting Harrisburg Academy, and the Varsity team will host Covenant Christian on Thursday, and Tri Valley HS coming to town on Saturday.

The Warriors visited the District #1 seeded York Country Day Greyhounds and fell 65-39. Super Soph's AJ Migliarini and Brandon Osafo led the CL scoring with 15 and 11 pts respectively. The JH team also tumbled 41-20. The Warriors currently rank 10th in District 3, Single A rankings, the very last playoff spot.

Both Carson Long JV and Varsity teams visited the East Juanita Tigers and came away with resounding victories. JV won 55-32, with 4 players in double digit scoring. Sophomores AJ Migliarini and David Lazbin scored 18 and 11 points respectively, Freshman Kyle Wilson-Bailey added 11 with Senior Mouad Bokadida scoring 10 pts. The Varsity team overcame a lackluster 1st half to roar away with a 25 point 3rd quarter, leading to a 70-44 win. Davon Ralliford, '17, and Sophomore Brandon Osafo led all scorers with 16 pts, Migliarini and Wilson-Bailey added 14 and 12 respectively.

AJ Migliarini, '19, scored the biggest 2 points of his 21 as time expired to lead the Warrior JV team to a 51-49 win over the visiting Newport HS Buffaloes. The Warriors outscored the Buffaloes 30-17 in the 2nd half to seal the victory. Junior Austin Assoko added 16 pts, his season high. The JH team did not fare quite as well, going down 48-19 to the Yeshiva Academy. Stephen Twichell scored 15pts with DeVeyon Fitzgerald adding 4pts more.

Both Varsity and JV basketball teams welcomed the Tigers of Fannett-Metal HS to the Kate Carson gym and both teams came away with vital victories. The JV team posted a 65-49 win with 8 players getting on the scoresheet. The Varsity team kept their District playoff hopes alive with a 63-49 win. Davon Ralliford, '17, and AJ Migliarini, '19, each scored 17 pts, newcomer Kyle Wilson-Bailey, '20, and Brandon Osafo, '19, each chipped in 12pts.

The Warrior Varsity basketball team fell to a heartbreaking buzzer beater at York Christian. With 3 players in double digit scoring, Senior Davon Ralliford (18 pts), and Sophomores Alfonso Migliarini (12 pts) and Brandon Osafo (13 pts), the Warriors could not pull out the win.

All 3 Carson Long basketball teams fell this evening to their opponents. The Junior High boys lost 43-19 to Grace Baptist, with Jonathon Christ leading the way with 8 pts. Their bigger brothers, with JV and Varsity hosted ST Joseph's Catholic in a top of the league clash. Both teams lost by 3, JV losing 32-29 with Soph, Alfonso Migliarini pouring in 21 pts in the losing effort, then turning around and adding 19 pts in the Varsity game. Senior, Davon Ralliford, chipped in 18 pts in a very physical battle, which leaves the Warriors in 2nd spot in the MAC Conference, and 6th in District 3.
