Both Brandon Osafo, '19, and Stephen Washington, '17, had great outings at the PIAA District 3 Track & Field Championships, held at Shippensburg University. Osafo medalled in 7th place in the 400m, finishing 1st in his heat. Washington finished 12th in the 800m with a time of 2:10.93. Congrats to both on a super season.

Senior, Stephen Washington, qualified for the PIAA District 3 Track and Field Championships, at Shippensburg University, on Sat, May 20th. Osafo qualified in the 800m sprint and will be the sole CLMA representative in this event. GOOD LUCK !

Soph, Brandon Osafo, qualified in the 11th slot for the PIAA District 3 Track and Field Championships, at Shippensburg University, on Sat, May 20th. Osafo qualified in the 400m sprint and will be the sole CLMA representative in this event. This will be the 2nd consecutive year he has qualified. Last year he qualified in the 300m Hurdles. The Warriors travelled to the Juniata HS Indians, and fell by a score of 16-1. After taking the lead in the top of the 1st, errors with 2 out in the bottom of the 1st, allowed Juniata to take a 3-1 lead. The Indians never looked back running out easy winners. Carson Long ends their season on Saturday at East Juniata HS, 11:00am.

The Warrior tennis team fell to Harrisburg Academy on Tuesday, and to Juniata HS on Wednesday. Omar Sorour, Rudi Herrera and Nick Chlanda held their own for much of the match, succumbing, in singles, in straight sets.

Carson Long Baseball hosted Newport HS yesterday and, despite the 14-2 loss, Coach Ammon was pleased with the team performance. Daniel Leisher, '17, went 3 for 3 batting with 3 stolen bases and Grant Allison, '17, turned an impressive unassisted double play. The Warriors host high flying York Christian on Wednesday then travel to Milton Hershey on Friday, weather permitting.

Carson Long Baseball racked up its 1st win of the season, beating the Beavers's of Lebanon Catholic 16-4. Grant Allison, '17, had 5 RBI's and Daniel Leisher, '17, gave up only 4 runs over 5 innings to secure the win. The Warriors are back in action on Thursday at St Joseph's.

An error laden 1st inning put the Warriors in a hole they could not bat their way out of. Runners left on base, failure to bring home runners with the bases loaded all spelled doom, as Carson Long slumped to a 20-1 defeat at Greenwood HS. Bright spots included Grant Allison, '17, pitching and a solid infield performance after the initial inning. The Warriors will take a break over Easter and be back on the diamond on Apr 18th at Lebanon Catholic.

Carson Long tennis fell to the visiting Greyhounds of York Country Day, 5-0. Decimated by absences, the Warriors closest scoreline was from #1 seed, David Lazbin, '19, who lost in 3 sets. Carson Long travel to Hanover HS tomorrow
