Carson Long Baseball racked up its 1st win of the season, beating the Beavers's of Lebanon Catholic 16-4. Grant Allison, '17, had 5 RBI's and Daniel Leisher, '17, gave up only 4 runs over 5 innings to secure the win. The Warriors are back in action on Thursday at St Joseph's.

An error laden 1st inning put the Warriors in a hole they could not bat their way out of. Runners left on base, failure to bring home runners with the bases loaded all spelled doom, as Carson Long slumped to a 20-1 defeat at Greenwood HS. Bright spots included Grant Allison, '17, pitching and a solid infield performance after the initial inning. The Warriors will take a break over Easter and be back on the diamond on Apr 18th at Lebanon Catholic.

Carson Long tennis fell to the visiting Greyhounds of York Country Day, 5-0. Decimated by absences, the Warriors closest scoreline was from #1 seed, David Lazbin, '19, who lost in 3 sets. Carson Long travel to Hanover HS tomorrow

Despite a strong pitching performance by Jachob Yungwirth, '19, the Warriors fell to the host Buffaloes of Newport HS, 10-0.

Carson Long Tennis hosted Harrisburg Academy to open their home Tennis season. Harrisburg Academy came away a 3-2 winner. Max Tansky ('18) and Jonathon Yoyo ('20) won their respective singles matches.

The Warrior Baseball team opened the season on the road at York Christian. They came away on the losing end of a 14-3 scoreline. Despite the tough loss, a bright 3rd inning garnered the Warriors 3 runs, courtesy of Grant Allison ('17), William Holtzapple ('19) and Lucas Fitchett ('19).

The Warriors travelled to Greenwood HS to compete against the hosts, Greenwood HS, West Shore Christian and Berks Christian. Carson Long beat Berks Christian, lost narrowly to West Shore and Greenwood. Highlights included a 2nd place finish in the 4x100m, 2nd in the Long Jump (Brandon Osafo '19), 3rd in the 100m and 200m (Nazir Johnson '17) and 3rd in the 800m and Triple Jump (Stephen Washington '17).

Carson Long were eliminated from the PIAA District tournament by the High Point Baptist Eagles, 48-32. Despite the early exit, Carson Long claimed tournament gold at the Lititz Christian tournament and their first MAC Conference title over the course of the season. We bid the Seniors farewell knowing that a talented group of underclassmen are ready to take up the challenge.

Carson Long took the MAC Conference title with a 61-49 win over the St Joseph's Prep Wolves. Losing both regular season games motivated the Warriors and 4 players with double digit scoring helped propel CLMA to the title. 15 pts from Freshman Kyle Wilson-Bailey, 14 pts from Sophomore Brandon Osafo, 12 pts from Senior Davon Ralliford and 10 pts from Sophomore AJ Miglirini, and a masterful court leadership performance from Senior Captains Taj Smith and Nazir Johnson paced the Warriors to their 1st Conference title in 20 years.

The Carson Long Varsity team pepped for past season play by splitting 2 games at home. On Saturday, they fell 47-40 to Tri-Valley HS but bounced back with a 58-30 win against Bucktail HS on Monday evening. Thursday evening CLMA hosts Harrisburg Academy at 7:00pm in the MAC semi finals with the final on Saturday at Greenwood HS, 2:00pm. The Warriors then travel to High Point Baptist Academy on Monday evening for a 7:00pm tip-off in the PIAA District 3 tournament, 1st round.
