Both Varsity and JH squads took on Harrisburg Academy, and came out on the wrong end of the final result. JH lost, at home, 6-0, despite playing shorthanded. Varsity travelled to Harrisburg and, despite 3 goals from Brandon Osafo, '19, and 1 from Ruben Arias, '17, they succumbed 6-4. Varsity travels to Lourdes Regional on Saturday, 5:00pm kickoff, JH finish their season at Belleville next Thursday.

The Cross Country teams wrapped up their inaugural regular season with a narrow loss to James Buchanan HS, and a win over Greenwood HS. Stephen Washington, '17, (20m27s) and Alfonso Migliarini, '19, (21m26s) led the boys with District qualifier Lauren Wilson, '18, leading the girls with a time of 21m55s. The Warriors head to the Mid Penn Conference meet on Saturday, hoping to bring back several medals, then Lauren Wilson will compete in the PIAA District 3 Championship on Sat, Oct 29th.

The JH Soccer team beat the visiting Greyhounds of York Country Day 5-2 behind goals from Jonathan Crist, '20, Kevin Hunter, '20, and William Vonk (2), '21. The victory avenged an earlier season loss.

The JH Soccer team started the week strongly with an 8-1 victory over the visiting Grace Baptist School. Goals by Stephen Twichell, '20, Jonathon Crist, '20, Khalil Rashada, '21, and William Vonk, '21, led the junior Warriors to victory. The Varsity team played the next afternoon, hosting Grace Prep, and falling 5-2. Goals by Kalan Fernandez were not enough to lead the team to the win.

The Lady Warriors beat the Boiling Springs Bubblers, yesterday, behind the 1st place finish of Lauren Wilson. Lauren posted a time of 22m22s. The boys were not as fortunate, falling to the Bubblers, paced by Stephen Washington's, '17, 20m47s. Alfonso Migliarini, '19, came in at 21m49s with Shane Orris posting 22m44s.

Boys Cross Country scored a victory over Greenwood HS, but lost to Northern HS and Milton Hershey HS in todays meet. Stephen Washington, '17, led the Warrior men (22m53s) followed closely by Daniel Leisher (23m07s). The Lady Warriors finished the same as the boys, with Lauren Wilson leading the ladies (22m21s) with Paige Steffy (25m20s) 2nd in for the Warriors.

All of the Carson Long Cross Country runners ran a personal best at the Carlisle Invitational. Stephen Washington. '17 led all male runners with 20m17s, Daniel Leisher, '17, was bested by only 1 second by Alfonso Migliarini, '19, 21m18s and 21m17s respectively. Shane Orris, '20, turned in a respectable 21m45s. On the girls side, Paige Steffy led the pack with 24m14s, with Hannah Kowalewski, 25m15s, and Adele Shirmer, 26.13s, rounding out the finishers.

Carson Long slumped to 2 defeats at the Harrisburg Christian tournament. In the opening game, Harrisburg Academy 7 on the board without reply from the Warriors, and in the second game, the score was identical, only in the favor of Dayspring Christian.

The Carson Long JH soccer team travelled to Carlisle to take on Grace Baptist School. They came away with the 5-3 win behind a hat trick from Khalil Rashada, '21, and 2 goals from Stephen Twichell, '20. They team is back in action at Harrisburg Academy on Monday.
