Carson Long to Dedicate SFC William Stone Mural on Memorial Day 2017

SFC Stone was a JROTC Army Instructor at Carson Long for 17 years. Prior to his tenure at CLMA, he retired from the Army as a Sergeant First Class. In 2010, SFC Stone initiated the mural in collaboration with the Carson Long Art Department, but was unable to see its completion, as he passed away in 2012.

Carson Long Transitions Alumni Association into Organizational Structure

Carson Long Military Academy recently announced the merger of the Academy and the Carson Long Alumni Association (AA). The Alumni Association has existed since 1984, and the Academy is happy to welcome it into the fold of the overall Carson Long organizational structure.

Warrior Basketball halt losing skid

Both Varsity and JV basketball teams welcomed the Tigers of Fannett-Metal HS to the Kate Carson gym and both teams came away with vital victories. The JV team posted a 65-49 win with 8 players getting on the scoresheet. The Varsity team kept their District playoff hopes alive with a 63-49 win. Davon Ralliford, '17, and AJ Migliarini, '19, each scored 17 pts, newcomer Kyle Wilson-Bailey, '20, and Brandon Osafo, '19, each chipped in 12pts.

Varsity basketball completes sweep of Spartans

Carson Long's varsity team completed a 3 game sweep of the host Harrisburg Academy Spartans, posting a 37-33 win behind Senior Brady Kyle's 19 points. Taj Smith, '17, added 12 to move the Warriors to 1-4. The teams will welcome the victory going into Xmas break and begin again in 2016, Jan 7th at Belleville Mennonite.
