The season openers for all 3 Carson Long basketball teams are here. Varsity Basketball opens at the Lourdes Regional HS tournament, where they will battle the hosts in their opening game, Friday, Dec 4th at 8:30pm. The 2nd game of the tournament will be Saturday afternoon, time and opponent TBA.The JV team will open the season hosting Newport HS at 5:00pm, Tuesday, Dec 8th.The JH basketball players will have to wait a little longer then their big brothers, opening on Friday, Dec 11th, traveling to Grace Baptist School in Carlisle for a 3:30pm tip off.Follow the teams games via Twitter @CLMAsports, and on The Cube. Carson Long football players took home post season awards from the All American Football Conference, including League Offensive MVP and League sportsmanship.Awards received were given to at the Fall Sports awards dinner held on campus.Awards went to:Honorable mention honors:William Romberger, '16, honorable mention at running back.Ryan Estep, '16, honorable mention at defensive back.Devon McGeoghean, '16, honorable mention at inside line backer.Second team honors:Tyler Willis, '16, 2nd team All conference at defensive end.First team honors:Tajamier Smith, '17, 1st team All conference at defensive back.Nasir Johnson, '18, 1st team All conference at slot receiver.Ryan Estep, '16, 1st team All conference on special teams.League honors:Nazir Johnson, '18, AAFC League offensive MVP.Carson Long Military Academy, AAFC League Team sportsmanship award.Congrats to all players and coaches.

Even with a 49-8 final score, the team played their hearts out in the last game of the season. Carson Long were led by Tyler Willis, 16, on offense with 1 touchdown pass and a two point conversion. Defensively the Warriors were led by Raymond Centanni, 18, with 6 tackles.

Carson Long had their best outing of the year against Columbia Montour Vo Tech. Despite the 68-36 loss, he team was led on offense by Nazir Johnson, 18, with 4 touchdowns and 307 yards total offense. Tajmir Smith, '17, contributed with 3 touchdown passes and he returned a kickoff for 82 yards for a touchdown. The defense was led by Tyler Willis, '16, with 5 tackles and a sack.

The varsity soccer team closed out its season with a hard earned, 1-1 tie at West Perry HS. Brandon Osafo, '19, scored the Warrior goal, clawing back West Perry's earlier strike.

The Warriors lost 1-0 to visiting York Christian School in the home finale for the seniors on the team. Durham Richards, Markhel Diejuste and Prasath Desantis had hoped for better send off, and Diejuste almost provided a fairytale ending, hitting the woodwork with 5 minutes left. Good Luck Seniors !!

Carson Long Military Academy football team fell to Nativity BVM High School 62-6. Carson Long scored their only TD when Taj Smith, '17, connected with Nazir Johnson, '18, for a 48 yard touchdown pass. Smith and Johnson connected on four other pass plays for a total of 77 yards. The defense was led by seniors, Tyler Willis and William Romberger, who both had 7 tackles. Derek Pachter, '18, also contributed with 5 tackles. It was the final home game for seniors William Romberger, Ryan Estep, Tyler Willis and Devon McGeoghean.

The Warrior soccer team slumped to a 9-1 loss against a very strong Fannett_Metal team. Freshman Brandon Osafo scored the only goal for the Warriors.

Harrisburg Academy had the Warriors number, today, on the soccer field. The Varsity team travelled to Harrisburg and fell 6-1, with the lone score coming from Mouad Bokadida, '17, assisted by Prasath Desantis, '16. The JH team hosted the Spartans, who spoiled the party 4-0.

Carson Long faced St. Joseph's in what turned out to be a major struggle for the Warriors. Devon McGeoghean, '16, was injured on our first offensive play of the game was was unable to return. Carson Long relied on backup quarterback Ryan Estep, -16, to fill in and he gave a valiant effort. Additionally, William Romberger, '16, displayed excellent leadership and courage as he fought hard each and every play. Carson Long looks to bounce back against Nativity on Saturday for senior night.
