It is never easy playing back to back games, but with Warrior pitching this year, Carson Long relishes the challenge. On Monday, Daniel Leisher, '17, pitched 13 strikeouts in a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to Harrisburg Christian. The very next day, Senior Gunnar Slagle pitches 7 strikeouts with 0 earned runs in 6-4 win over St Joseph's Catholic, while going 3 for 3 at bat with 2 runs scored. The Warriors will rest until Friday when Milton Hershey HS comes to town.

Carson Long, traveling with 6 players, tied Hanover HS, 3-3, in their tennis match. Warrior winners were Markhel Diejuste, '16, Nikita Flory, '17, and the doubles team of Flory and Max Tansky, '19. The Warriors complete a busy week at Harrisburg Academy on Friday, Apr 15th, 3:15pm.

The Warrior baseball team traveled to the Juniata Indians and came away with a 15-3 loss. Gunnar Slagle, '16, secured 2 hits and scored 1 run. Fellow Senior Brady Kyle and Junior Ruben Arias scored the Warriors other 2 runs.

Carson Long defeated the visiting York Country Day Greyhounds, 3-2, with Francisco Aponte, '17, and Markhel Diejuste, '16, winning in straight sets. Max Tansky, '19, won in 3 sets to seal the victory.

The Warrior Tennis team travelled to the Canners of Biglerville HS and came out on the wrong side of a 6-1 decision. Markhel Diejuste, '16, was the highlight, winning in straight sets.

Northern HS hosted 5 other small schools at their annual Small School Invitational, and Carson Long placed 4th, despite only traveling with 10 athletes. Zachary Levine, '16, won the 200m and finished 2nd in the 100m.Fellow Senior, Rashaad Butler finished 3rd in the 100m. Carson Log defeated Stilton-Highspire HS and Christian School of York in the meet.

The Warriors travelled to Juniata HS and ran into a seasoned opponent who handed the Warriors their 2nd loss of the season. Max Tansky, '19, showed promise, taking 3 games each set from the Juniata #2.

Carson Long Baseball travelled to York Christian for their season opener, and were held to 2 hits, giving up 10 runs. An early setback, but the young Warriors will learn from their experience and be ready for East Juniata HS on Monday, Apr 11th.

The Warrior Track and Field team opened the season at Greenwood HS on a cold, rainy blustery afternoon. Despite the weather, Kenechi Ucheagwu, '16, won the 100m in a time of 11.9 seconds with teammate, Rashaad Butler, '16, taking 3rd in 12.3 seconds. Other notable finishes on the afternoon were Brandon Osafo, '19, 4th in the 300 Hurdles, and Brent Romberger, '16, taking 5th in the Long Jump.

The Warriors travelled to Gettysburg HS for the season opener and, despite 2 of the top 4 seeded player not traveling, they gave a good account of themselves. Markhel Diejuste, '16, won in 3 sets with Freshman, Max Tansky, losing in 3 sets. Nikita Flory, '17, and Wellington Stubbs, '17, both fell over 2 sets, with the doubles partnership of Shoutong Wu, '17, and Noah Brundin, '17, losing their match. The Warriors travel to Biglerville on Apr 4th.
